The last days of an elderly couple VORTEX 2021

"Vortex" is a film by Gaspar Noé, it is about the last days of an elderly couple. 

We will see how Alzheimer's has attacked the woman and how her husband and son try to help her in their own way.

A very particular feature of this film is that at all times the screen is divided in two. Generally in one half we see the old woman and in the other half we see the old man. 

It is very strong to see how these last moments are, the man, a writer, is still working on his last book. But the woman has nothing to do, which in my opinion only makes her illness worsen at a faster rate.

The film deals in a very crude way with the old age that will inevitably come to us at some point and with it the health problems.

But it also shows us a problem that young people have such as drugs. A problem that the son of this old couple has.
